For my audio projects I like to develop full packaging and artwork. This project, "The Not of the Want", was at the time the most industrious effort I had put forth. Since the music was mixed to cassette format, I designed a small cassette slipcase with a booklet. The main image on the packaging is the one you see above. This is a low resolution 4-bit scan, the only public scanner I could access at the time. I modified this one a bit, cleaning it up and adding the lettering. The original used paper collage source pics and so there was no lettering. The colors in the original were subtle, so there isn't much missing in the black and white version. The wings were originally part of the torso of a male gorilla.
