Description: This piece was developed to be displayed and looped on a monitor as part of a trade show booth installation. I decided to develop the piece entirely in Flash to allow for scaling to different screen sizes on all platforms while also being compatible with future integration into the company's web site. The animation was kept clean and simple so it could be "scanned" by wandering trade show visitors as they walked by at a distance. Other than the deadline, the challenge was getting the content legibly squeezed into sections specifically designed to be segways into the next section of animation. The piece had to be run from an older laptop, so speed was also an issue since there were multiple layers of 3D rendered images throughout the animation, so after testing we capped the playback at 640x480 to ensure smooth and consistant playback. Though this use of Flash is unusual it was also a perfect solution.
