Living The Opaque Dream is a personal web site founded by audio/video artist and designer Eric Peacock in 1996. Ever since the site has evolved many times along with it's author though it often tends to get neglected to better server paying clients.
Eric Peacock currently lives in Seattle Washington. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Olympia, Washington in 1992 to do undergraduate study at The Evergreen State College.
Eric is a hybrid geek/artist, and has been doing creative things with technology for as long as he can remember. Aside from being keenly interested in producing standards-based web sites he operates from a home studio with full audio and video editing capabilities. From his home studio he has self-produced a good number of albums on cassette (back in the day) and CD but is now moving into digital distribution with new material on this very web site. Currently he's working with surround sound compositions for audio/video installations and animated music videos.
Other forms of Eric's work are collage with paper, photography, painting, and sculpture. Eric believes that between now and his mysterious end there will never be enough time to work out and produce every little idea in his head. However, he will still try.
To pay the bills Eric works full time at Weber Marketing Group as the IT guy, video guy, and as needed as a designer and graphical production guy. Occasionally Eric also works independently on web sites, album cover art, film sound tracks, sound design, interface design or other media related projects. He is also a member of the Seattle Improv Meeting, a group dedicated to playing contemporary improvised music.
